There are two parts to fixing this problem and note that this doesn’t need to be done on every build, only with certain themes. Always make sure to check your source code and page titles after you finish your SEO work.
I’ve found this problem when using INK themes and Be Theme. There might have been others.
PART ONE
Go to Yoast > Title & Metas > Post Types > Pages
- Change the Title Template to read as seen inside of the green box on screenshot below.
- ” %%title%% “

PART TWO
Go to edit the header.php file and Replace everything in between the <title>bla bla bla bla</title> with the following code.
<title><?php wp_title(''); ?></title>

Finally
Go and check your source code to make sure that your page titles read exactly what they should.
If so, then job is complete and you’ve fixed the website name from duplicating after the page title via a breakdown between the Yoast SEO plugin and theme.
