If you search Google for your business via your mobile device or tablet you will see it listed in the search results. If your site is responsive it will have the words ‘Mobile-friendly’ listed just below the url and page title. If you don’t see those two very important words you must take action. Speak to your web developers and start putting together a plan to get your site upgraded or rebuilt as a responsive/mobile-ready website.
If for example your competitors make the move before you do you’ll find that your site will drop down the search listings, it will come a point that every site will be responsive – don’t be the last to make the move.
Don’t just take our word for it!
It’s important you understand the severity of this change and what it means for the future of your business online on Google. Here are two of the best blogs we can find on the internet that explain exactly the ins and outs of the Google algorithm change.
