NEW WEBSITE ORDERS

In order to proceed with your order/work and to obtain a booking slot, you’ll need to read these terms. FIZZ designs require your Digital Signature, at the bottom of this page. Once we receive your signature we will issue your an invoice to your email address supplied. Upon receiving payment we will book your website into the system.

1. The setup cost of your package must be paid in full in order to secure your booking slot for the work to be done.
2. From month two onwards you must pay the set monthly subscription fee by direct debit.
3. The contract between us is an 18-month contract. After 18 months the subscription service is rolling and will continue until you cancel it.
4. After the contract length is complete you can cancel at any time. Please call us to let us know verbally, we will then give you an email address so that you can complete the cancellation process in writing by email.
5. Once you have cancelled your service your website, email services and everything else included in the subscription package will be closed down.

THE PROCESS

From Start to Finish

START DATE

You will receive a booking slot (a start date) for the work to commence, upon FIZZ designs receiving all of the content including text, imagery and video.  When we have received the initial 50% setup payment we will start work on the installation of the website, the setup and design of the theme and we’ll create all of the pages as per the page plan, prior to you supplying the content.

COMPLETION DATE

Most small business web builds have a turnaround of within 4-6 weeks. However, it is in our interests to get them in and out the door as quickly as possible for you and for us. We will always endeavour to complete all jobs as quickly as possible but we cannot foresee technical issues arising. If we do experience a problem we will keep you updated on our progress. No compensation will be paid as these are estimated finish dates and do still fall under the 4-6 week window.

MAKE SURE THAT YOUR WEBSITE IS LEGAL

As a business owner, it’s your responsibility to be compliant with current legislation.

In order to help guide you about the information, you need to prepare and supply the content for your website.

CONTENT-CONTROL

Text: We require all text content to be provided in word document format with the headings of each page above the text itself. Any images can be placed beside the text so we know where you want it placed. Do not copy text from another website. Google treats this as duplicate content and your site will be penalised for this, lowering its position in the search engine.

Imagery: Please send logos, photos/images to us by email, memory stick, Google Drive or Dropbox. We require original jpeg photos and it’s best they are as large as possible.

Copyright: You must have full and legal rights to the usage of all photos and images that go onto your website, if not you could be liable for copyright infringement/fines. FIZZ designs cannot be held responsible for copyright infringement made by yourself.

Stock Photography: If you are struggling to obtain photos for your website we can search our stock photography websites and use generic photos related to your products and services. These photos are purchased from the stock sites and we would bill you for these at cost price.

Content Deadline: All content is required to be with us on the agreed start date, missing the start date affects our booking system and other client bookings. Content arriving late may incur a charge.

FAILURE TO PROVIDE CONTENT ON TIME

FIZZ designs is a small business and to remain efficient we must ensure that all projects are carried out within a certain time frame.

We cannot lose valuable income due to the client not supplying the information that is required for us to complete the work. It cannot be stressed highly enough that this is a serious commitment from you and your business. We will give a maximum of 6 weeks from the date we receive the 50% set up payment for you to organise and create the content as per the page plan.

A final chance for content may be granted, if so – failing to meet this could result in the cancellation of the project, with loss of the initial setup payment.

In the event that progress can be made after missing the original 6 weeks deadline, FIZZ designs reserve the right to apply a 25% surcharge of the total amount for time lost on the project.

LIABILITY

Upon completion of the website training, FIZZ designs & SEO cannot accept responsibility for any problems, errors, or mistakes applied by the client.

These problems can be fixed by our designers but will incur a cost at our hourly rate.

CLIENT APPROVAL

Every website requires the client’s approval before it goes live. We will email you a live approval link to view the website.

Take some time to go over the design and build of the site to make sure everything is as agreed and working correctly.

While we endeavour to make sure everything is as it should be, you may find small link errors or bugs that require fixing – we ask that you take note of everything and supply it in writing by email.

We will then apply the changes and resubmit for your final approval. In most cases, there are only minor glitches and changes that need to be addressed.

DEADLINE: Changes, Alts & Edits for Going-Live!

Changes need to be sent back to us within 5 days of you receiving the live approval link.

DIRECT DEBIT

The direct debit will be sent to you upon the invoice being sent for the initial fee.

The direct debit will start on the following month, however, you will need to set it up upon the link being sent.

This gets you into the system and ticks it off as complete.
