WhatsApp is most probably the most underused Application for business.
It’s crazy to think that there are 29 Million messages per minutes on Whatsapp on average. Most people I know use WhatsApp to communicate. But is your Business using WhatsApp to advertise?
So encase you don’t know what WhatsApp is here is a quick explanation… it’s a messaging app that allows you to send texts, photos, videos and now does voice calls and video calls. But it’s important to know that it only works via a Wifi internet connection or mobile (data) internet.
Most people use WhatsApp to communicate via text, photos, videos and the odd call. I know that here at FIZZ it is used daily between all of the team for sharing files, photos and even to do calls because a certain member of the team has a crappy mobile phone signal. But hey that just shows you how good a tool it is because it works better than mobile phone signals in certain cases.
We also use it on a desktop computer. This means we have downloaded the application to our computers and connected it to our smartphones in order to have the facility to send all of the above via our computers and laptops to the contacts in our phones. It’s a fantastic tool and helps us save a lot of time.
WHATSAPP BUSINESS ADVERTISING?
FACEBOOK OWN WHATSAPP AND FACEBOOK NEVER MISS AN OPPORTUNITY TO SELL ADVERTISING, DO THEY?
In this case, Facebook via WhatsApp are about to launch business advertising via their WhatsApp platform. I hope you have watched the above video because it explains it better than I can. But the long and short is that via WhatsApp catalogue you can advertise your business.
WhatsApp said back at the start of 2019 that this would be coming this year and it looks like they are going to deliver on their promise.
The WhatsApp calling option is growing fast and you might find that in the near future you’ll have an option on your website to allow website traffic the choice of contacting you via either text messaging or by voice or video calls, that’s of course if you haven’t already done it.
